Sunland House: Adolescent Behavioral Health Residential Program (Females)
Ages 12–17 | Capacity: 10 Residents
Our program provides 24-hour supervision in a structured, supportive, and family-centered environment where adolescent girls ages 12 to 17 can feel safe, respected, and empowered to heal.
As a licensed Behavioral Health Residential Facility, we offer a clinically structured setting designed for adolescents who require a higher level of therapeutic support while still benefiting from a home-like atmosphere.

Individualized Clinical & Developmental Support
Each resident receives a personalized treatment plan developed in collaboration with our clinical team and Medical Director. Services include:
-
Individual therapy
-
Daily CBT and DBT skills groups
-
Therapeutic process groups
-
Life skills development, including communication, emotional regulation, accountability, healthy relationships, and independent living skills
-
Family therapy and engagement
-
Behavioral health monitoring
-
Medication management and psychiatric coordination
-
Crisis intervention and safety planning
-
Case management and discharge planning
With a larger capacity, our program is supported by expanded staffing to ensure appropriate supervision, safety, and individualized attention for every resident. Our structured team approach allows for consistent therapeutic engagement, skill-building, and accountability throughout each day.
Our goal is not only stabilization — but sustainable growth, responsibility, and emotional resilience that extends beyond treatment.
Education & Academic Continuity
Education remains a priority during treatment. Residents may continue their academic progress through an accredited online learning program or attend school on campus, depending on their individualized educational plan.
We work collaboratively with families, schools, and care teams to ensure each adolescent remains on track academically while focusing on their mental health and personal development.
A Structured, Supportive Therapeutic Community
With a capacity of 10 residents, this home offers a structured therapeutic community where adolescents can practice healthy communication, build social awareness, and strengthen coping skills in a supportive peer environment.
Enhanced staffing and clinical oversight ensure that supervision remains consistent, safety remains a priority, and each resident receives individualized attention within a dynamic and growth-oriented setting.
We accept referrals from families, community providers, and child welfare agencies and are committed to delivering safe, ethical, and clinically sound care for every adolescent we serve.

Many of the adolescents who enter our program arrive with very few personal belongings and limited resources. Through our nonprofit community partner, Life Change, we are able to provide clothing, hygiene essentials, school supplies, comfort items, and supportive programming that help each young person feel safe, valued, and cared for.
Your donation helps us continue building and strengthening our youth program while ensuring that every child who walks through our doors has access to basic necessities and opportunities for growth.
